OPTION ONE · THE FULL ROUND

May runs the round, you approve it

One session per client account, per week. Following a single session for Vermere, a sample client brand.

Stage 1 · Research

It reads the client's site and offer page, then reads what competitors are running in the category this week. This is the same research layer we sell on its own, described further down the page.

We turn Ad Library data into a report

We pull every active ad from Meta's Ad Library, separate what's confirmed from what's inferred, and write up the read. (Here's how competitor targeting reverse-engineering works.) We look at:

  • Active ads and creative variations
  • Copy and messaging strategies
  • Campaign longevity indicators
  • Likely audience and offer signals
What goes into the read
  • Every active ad pulled from the Ad Library
  • Creative assets saved before links expire
  • Creative, copy, and offers scored by an analyst
  • Recommendations written for your stage

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about both paths.

Which one do I want?

If your bottleneck is getting the creative round built, take May. If you have a team that builds creative and just needs to know what the competition is running, buy the research. Agencies often start with a report on one client, then move that account onto May.

Does May publish anything live on its own?

No. Campaigns arrive paused, every row switched off. Turning one on is a human action, every time, and budget changes between rounds go through the same approval.

Do you need access to my ad account?

Not for reports, and not to try May. The free generator runs on a public website. Account access comes up when you are ready to publish campaigns into a real account, and we scope that on the call.

Is this instant or a self-serve dashboard?

Neither. It's done for you. You submit a short brief and pay on Stripe. We email you when the report is ready, usually within 24 hours. Download the PDF and export ZIP from your portal at makometrics.com/portal. No research dashboard to learn.

How long does the analysis take?

Most single-competitor reports are done within 24 hours. Multi-competitor or industry-wide analyses can take up to 48 hours.

What platforms do you cover?

Facebook and Instagram, everything that runs through Meta's Ad Library. TikTok, Google, and LinkedIn support is on the roadmap.

Can I analyze multiple competitors at once?

Yes. The Market Dominator plan covers up to 5 competitors per quarter. You can also request custom multi-competitor snapshots as one-time purchases.

Is the data accurate and up-to-date?

We pull directly from Meta's public Ad Library. Your report reflects what is running at the time we generate it, plus clearly labeled interpretation based on ad volume, format mix, copy themes, and run duration.

What if my competitor isn't running ads?

We'll let you know and offer to analyze a different competitor in your space instead. Or we'll refund you. Your call.
